Big Game

So I was thinking of some ideas for the big game. I will officially get started and focus on it starting next month but I will probably do some prep work to get things set up earlier. I still got to finish that short game I was working on too, which I am almost done with, just been lacking motivation to write the last few scenes(it will definitely get done before the end of the month and honestly I can probably finish it in a day when I get motivated).

Anyway, I was kind of thinking of maybe doing a game about a mage(or witch?) who is travels around. There could be different areas you go and explore and then when in those areas can run into random(or semi random) sexy encounters and stuff. I am not entirely sure why you would be traveling around yet, but maybe to train or collect resources for spells and what not.

I was thinking a mage, as you could suffering a loss and get transformed into something, but can perhaps turn yourself back or find a way to deal with the changes and what not. I also had an idea where you might get ‘cursed’ which slowly tries to turn you into something over time and you have to try to resist it, or cure it.

You could use this site as a control group for your ideas before you post on Patreon, Lily, and then post the finished product there. Also, you should do vampirism for the curse. Nósos Vampír, or Vampire Disease, when translated from Greek, is transmitted from a vampire’s saliva, and is a cousin to Η ασθένεια του λυκάνθρωπου, or werewolf disease. Both are a virus, not a bacterium. (I’m a super nerd and love lore, so I write my own and love to share, so if I can make your life easier and send you some notes from my database, feel free to ask.)

Please no sole focus on vampirism, there’s enough great games already that bases their transformation and mind control around just that theme. Having it as one of many different curses instead would be more interesting, in my opinion.
I know that vampires are a well developed archetype and therefore easy to get into, but it’s for that same reason I’ve gotten bored from it.

Personally I would suggest curses that change you into different tiers of reptilian creatures, such as ranking dragons on top, salamanders and naga in the middle, and kobolds and worms on the very bottom, buuuut that is also another overplayed type and my bias.
A mix of different archetypes usually turns out more fun for more people, unless you can come up with a brand new set of cursed species to narrow in on and go deep with!

After all, your creativity knows almost no bounds Lily.

sorry, just realized that I forgot to change my translation to a rough spoken Greek translation. I’m also a language artist. I know elvish, dwarvish, Midgardian, Jhalheimian, and many more. I can also write with runes. (I’m sorry, I know I’m coming off kinda strong, I just really really want you to succeed.)

I’m a big fan of magical settings, so I think this sounds like a very neat idea. Since you’re great at writing TG content, perhaps the character starts as a wizard but could become a witch? Maybe there are even masculine and feminine “schools” of magic (in the D&D sense, though literal magic schools can also be fun), and they’re often in competition with each other. Using certain types of magic could gradually make the character more masculine or feminine, and perhaps there’s also a “curse” from a rival witch that is pushing to make you more feminine over time.

Really like the idea of the cursed aspect. Almost like a timer before the character succumbs. All in all, definitely would love to see this game (your Dungeon series is easily one of my favorite text-games out there)

I just love how everyone is just totally nerding it out to help. And Philia, I agree with the multiple versions of curses, but I never said vampirism was the main one. I actually invented some of my own, for story writing, and I could send you about 5-6 pages of curses I invented, if I can find a certain harddrive I hid from my family. My email is. Old college email I use.

Oh okay, sorry for my misunderstanding.
I bet you can write a lot of interesting curses, if you happen to find them please do upload and share, sounds hot. ^^

😉 sure, I can do that. I have a curse for pretty much anything. Feel free to post a single word for a curse, and I’ll 100% have one for it already.
