Hmm

So I organized the game a bit and realize I have an issue, with how to group the scenes. So for example, I have a scene where you get tied up in a certain way, and there is like a dozen versions of how that scene can play out. Which I like. Though not all the scenes are that detailed, and I wonder if I have that many versions will a player even see most of them?

I noticed a lot depends on how I group them though. Like the above scene where all different versions of being tied up, but there is other tied up scenes too. So I could group them all together and say, if player is naughty, do a random tied up scene. I kind of got the scenes loosely grouped, but I have not decided the final grouping yet, if I want the scenes to be really random, or make it more likely that people see specific scenes.

Like for example, I could have scenes grouped by like, ‘when the player first arrives’, ‘when the player is mid way through’, ‘when they are broken’. In that case, don’t need as many random scenes, since you would just see a few from each group as you progress. Though I was considering, that I might group each scenes multiple ways. Such as, you are tied up and spanked by randomly be picked if you are naughty, but also might be picked when you first arrive to get you started in your training to get basic discipline.

Hmm

I have not reached the 50k words goal yet for the challenge, but I was thinking I might focus on organizing the game I was working on, since it is a huge mess now. That will still include some writing to round off scenes and do the joining scenes, but it might not be as much in just pure number of words.

Organizing

Looking at what I been working on in twine, the scenes are all over the place and a huge mess. I did try to organize them by similar scenes, so it actually isn’t that bad. However, I am going to have to do a ton of organizing later. Probably need a lot of in-between scenes too.

Stat

I was thinking for the stats, maybe I could just have them keep track of stuff you do, then impact the ending. Like if you suck cock X time, you get the cock sucker trait, or if you clean X times you get the maid trait. Then at the auction at the end, it checks what traits you have to determine your ending.

I was also thinking, the Mistress would try to get you as many traits as possible, so if you almost had the maid trait, she would give you more training to try and finish off the trait.

Hmm

I a bit behind because I took a couple of days off(well not full days off but didn’t write too much). Though it isn’t that far behind that I need to worry about reaching my goal(which is 50k words).

Stats

So for the training game I am doing, I sort of came up with stats at the start but I have not done any coding yet. I been just working on the scenes. I am actually not sure what stats I should use for the game, so it is kind of a work in progress.

Originally I did have stats to see if you could resist commands or what not, but as I am writing I am wondering if I should just give the player the full ability to make any choices they want(and living with the consequences for those choices).

The other stats I had, just measured things like how much you viewed yourself as a man or a human and not a pet. Those would be used for your Mistress to determine your training. Such as if you view yourself as a man, she does more training that makes you feel more girly and feminine.

The last set of stats I had, were like skill stats. Like how good you are at giving oral, or how good you are at cleaning and stuff. Those would factor into the ending you get, since the ending I have planned is you get auctioned off. Of course, at least at the start, your goal is to escape before the auction, but if you fail to escape then skills will help determine where you end up. So giving up on escaping, to get the best sale price is a valid choice and it is what your Mistress is hoping you will do.

Hmm

So I took a little break today from the writing, but the progress has gone pretty good so far. It is a complete mess, since I been writing mostly random scenes(some of the scenes do play off of each other, and there is a bit of a story so far). I am not sure yet, if I will try to organize the scenes more towards the middle of the month, or just do that after I finish. At the moment, I am just trying to write tons of training scenarios, so I have a large base of scenes for the training.

So

So for the writing challenge, my naughty idea wasn’t really about any special story. The story is about someone who is enslaved and turned into a cat girl, and your mistress tries to break you down and train you to be a pet Which is fun, but the reason I was thinking of doing it, is because I had an idea that would benefit from writing a lot, which is what the novel writing challenge is about, hitting a certain number of words.

The idea I had, was that there could be a lot of different versions of training, and so the Mistress can make choices based on what you do, to try and train you, using all those different scenes.

So far

I feel pretty productive so far. I actually had to do something in the morning three days in a row, which kind of messed up my plan to do writing first thing in the morning. However, as long as I do what I got to do, then get to the writing as soon as possible, it seemed to work out, and I got my goal each day.
