I have sent email with character sheets out to all the players as well.

Here is the final list of people who have signed up. A couple of people on the list signed up but didn’t turn in their turn actions. So nothing will happen on the first turn but they can still play next turn.

A few notes I want to make about the game though. I added new rules for cursed items. If you get a cursed item you are stuck with the item and can’t get rid of it, unless you try experimenting or using special abilities. Any other items you can choose to use or not use or get rid of. It is assume you are using all the stuff you have, unless you say otherwise.

Also, out of the many things you could find while searching, there there are special locations. When finding a special location, they appear and anyone can use them for special effects. Though they often only last for a short time.

Because I am getting so many people signing up for the game I am going to close the sign up a little early and move up the deadline. Everyone has until midnight(pst) on Tuesday night to turn in a character sheet and actions for the first turn. That gives me all days Wednesday and Thursday to work on and process the turn, and I will post the results and email people their new character sheets on Friday. Then the game will run weekly with people having until Tuesday night each week to do their turn.

This first week I should be able to have the turn done really quickly and will probably be able to post results early. However, I want to build in that extra time, since it may get more complicated once people start interacting with each other more. Also gives a bit more time to work out any bugs since this is a beta.

Of these people, everyone has turned in actions except for demonsen. Also I had trouble sending mail to Para, and keep getting returned to sender when I try. His character and actions are all in order but if I don’t have a valid email, will not be able to send people there character sheet for next turn!

I went over everyone’s so far, so if you are on the list and didn’t get any emails from me then you are signed up and all your actions look good.

I have been working on several games lately, though I don’t feel like they are at the point where I want to release them yet. Though I know people often want more regular updates, so I am going to try something new!

I will be starting a new multiplayer email based game called Demonic Evolution! It is a fairly straight forward game. Each player gets a character sheet, and each week they may take a few actions, such as attacking, defending, or trying to use evil spells or abilities, and then I will write a story showing their actions and what happens. The game continues on until everyone enslaves each other and only one person remains.

The game should be considered a beta test, since obviously I need multiple players to work out how the rules will work out in practice. Hopefully I can get a few people willing to test it. If anyone wishes to join they can send an email to demonic@lilysgames.com with a character sheet, what location they want to start at on the map, and the actions they wish to try on their first turn.

The deadline for turning turns will be Thursdays, and I will post the outcomes and stuff on Fridays.
