I put up the new game, it is a fairly short game but has a lot of mechanics. Try to keep your mind and see if you can escape the Demon Pit!

I am just cleaning up some stuff on that new game I mentioned. I will post it at the end of the month(which is only in a few days). The game will be done, but it is something I could expand on if people like that sort of thing. Though it is a game that has a lot of variations, so it is hard to test alone to make sure you can get every ending. So I need to make sure everything is working before trying to expand it.

I felt like I have not been getting a lot done recently, but then I felt inspired yesterday. So I took a break from other stuff and basically made like a whole game in the last two days! It isn’t finished but I got pretty far into it. Rather than a CYOA type game, it is a very gamey, with lots of stats and choices you make effecting your stats and stuff. I think that is what inspired me, because I had an interesting idea for game mechanics.

The mechanics are based on trying to remember who you are while being corrupted. Could probably make like a really long game based on it, but in this one is actually really intense, with you getting corrupted super fast and are just barely hanging on to not losing yourself.

Man I am kind of bummed. I got a new SSD because I only been using a harddrive and the price of them is pretty cheap these day and they are way faster. So I got one and it started having problems a few days after I got it and it just kept getting worse so I sent it back and got a replacement. I get the new one and it starts having the same problem as the other. I think what are the chances they sent me two defective SSD? Maybe it was my computer. I check everything, I check it for like over a week, messing with everything to fine the problem. Nope, it was the SSD all along and it breaks. It doesn’t work at all, just a big paperweight now.

So time to send it back and get a third one, I hope it works. I am a pretty chill sort of person, and I get that if you sell thousands of things online occasionally a defective one might slip out here and there. Two in a row though? That is a quality control issue. Man, if the third one breaks after a week or two, I am going to be pissed.

I need to free some time, this weekend or maybe next week to really hammer out a lot of stuff and get things done. I feel like things are really slowing down lately, and I need some good progress.

Like half the month has slipped by already! I really need to focus on getting some stuff down this month!

I may have got a little distracted playing Baldur’s Gate 3. I almost never buy new games when they come out, but I was kind of wanting to play it even back in the long early access for it. Pretty fun game, but got to focus on other stuff now!

I still get people occasionally who follow my April fools game from years ago. I almost have 10k words written, of just all wolf girls doing naughty stuff.

It is super late, I need to get back to a more reasonable sleep schedule, instead of staying up all night long. I usually stay up pretty late, since I am more of a night person, but I should probably keep it semi reasonable(and not stay up to like 5 am).

I had a really great idea for a story recently, though no time to spend writing it! Also, I probably shouldn’t be getting distracted by so much stuff.
