I get distracted with stuff going on some times, but today I feel like I got totally derailed from my plans. There was so much going on, I didn’t even get any time to even think about working on stuff today. It should be okay though, since I was planning on not taking saturday off this week and I think I will just work everyday forward on games. I don’t know if I can get a ton done everyday, but i want to be working at least a little bit everyday.

I am up late again tonight, like yesterday. Though I don’t feel as tired, I really shouldn’t be staying up so late. I think I mentioned this before though, that I am far more a night person than morning person. Though too bad I still got to wake up and do stuff during the day.

Not sure why I am up so late, well it isn’t that late for me. I got up kind of early today though so been feeling sleepy all day. I kind of wanted to take a nap but didn’t get a chance too, so now I am super tired even though I don’t really feel like going to bed.

I actually think it was a good idea to start the week on Sunday. I some times feel pretty lazy on Mondays but getting a head start on Sunday gave me a little momentum, so even though I was still kind of busy today I still got some work done earlier in the day and made good progress. So I will probably keep doing that. I was also thinking maybe I will not take saturday off after all, and maybe I will just work everyday. I probably don’t need an entire day off, and maybe just doing a bit of light work is fine. That will keep the momentum going from week to week I think.

So this week I am planning on finishing up the first two substories for my contest entry. I am a little behind on that so will finish that up. Will also organize things and do spell checking and stuff as I go, since it is a contest game and need to get it really polished! I think I will also release the first beta release for the game this week too.

Well no big plans tonight I had a lot to do, though got a general plan for what I am doing this coming week. I will post more about it tomorrow and also hopefully get a lot of work done too.

So I am thinking of taking a little break off tomorrow, since I am going to start the next week off on Sunday. Though maybe I wont really take Saturday off, and instead use that day as the planning day, since plan is a bit lighter than doing a lot of work writing and by planning it out I can get things more organized for the week.

So I got just a bit more than two full months to work on the contest game before it is due. Starting next week I think I will write out a more full schedule for what my plan is for the following month to get everything more organized.

So I wonder if a lot of other people are planning on joining in the contest on tfgamesite too? There is still plenty of time to make a game. Even small games can be pretty fun, so it doesn’t have be anything crazy.

So a bit behind today and didn’t get too much done. I feel like I been staying up later in the day again, and I should try to get to sleep earlier, so I can write earlier. Which is usually harder to do because of outside distraction but if I start writing earlier in the day I usually have a lot more focus. When I write late at night I have a lot less outside distractions but it is harder to stay focused.
