The old RAGS games I made were from 10-12 years ago, that is why I don’t really have copies of them anymore. Some of them are pretty good I think, but technology advances and time goes on! Since RAGS used to charge you money to use, I stopped paying for it and then didn’t touch it any longer. So I have not even opened the RAGS editor in over 10 years.
Although it would probably require getting some version of RAGS up and running, and I have no clue on the amount of effort it would require, but could arguably copy them over to Twine or something of the sort? I think I’ve seen a few old RAGS games be ported to Twine, but wasn’t sure on how much work that took.
I seen people do that before, and in fact I believe a couple of my games were converted too(I gave people permission to do it). It isn’t overly difficult, but most of the games are password protected in the editor, so I am not sure how to open them without the password in the editor, which might make it a lot harder if you have to play through the game without being able to see hidden variables.
I love some of those old rags games. Like the wold lab one. But ya, probably time to let they go.
I think you should keep them up. I still play them from time to time and really enjoy your older games.
