Magic Girl

I got the new update for Magic Girl Contest! It was kind of a mess yesterday but I think I sorted it out and it might have worked out okay. I wasn’t sure where I would take the game next but sort of made an outline for where to go. So we got several battle scenes to frame things. I added several place holder scenes as well, for where I want to add new stuff. The place holders will be where I focus on adding content the next update.

The stuff I added changes a lot depending on your stats, but there isn’t really many choices to make during them. Though there will be a lot more choices for the other stuff happening with the relationship scenes and such. It is only a weeks worth of work, so will take some time to get all those in. Just keep that in mind.

    i like Magic Girl Contest, it is a great game. However there are still some bugs in it you might want to eliminate:

    In the Love battle passage you should remove the if condition for sigtype=3 since it is redundant and missing the endif clause.

    In the following battle passages you have messed up the if conditions a bit as well. You are using in most cases conditions with lte and gte. In some cases you can get therefore duplicate texts, for example with defense=1 in the To Victory passage.

    In my opinion you should also change the lte in Pizza Party Passage to lt. You have 4 training sessions to that point, so unless you focus all these on only one stat, it is very unlikely that you have a stat leveled higher than value 2. Thus using a condition lte 2 would mean, the passage is always shown, unless you have a stat value of 3 or 4, which is highly unlikely at this point.
