Today

I took most of today off from doing much, since I had a bunch of other stuff I really needed to get done today. I finished those things up but didn’t have much time left over to work on games today.

Bimbo Cube

I updated bimbo cube with images now, and made a few minor tweaks to some puzzles, nothing major, just some clarification things. Flip23 is the one who helped by making the pictures for it.

Stuff

So I was thinking recently, if having a lot of dialogue in a game, would work out very well. As in ones that the player can pick all or most of the stuff the character is saying. I think people would like that and it works in some games, but I worry it wouldn’t work well in html games, since the dialogue can be fairly short if you are making the choices often. If there are pictures or other stuff on screen that is one thing(like with visual novels that is more common), but having a whole screen with only like a few sentences on it, seems like an issue.

Games

I didn’t get the pictures for Bimbo Cube yet, so I couldn’t update that game. I will probably do the update for that by next weekend, if I get the pictures by then(they said they were done, just didn’t get them yet). In the mean while, the short game I made in a day when I was super motivated is ready.

I think I will probably expand it a bit though, so it isn’t so linear. The base game is there, to the end though. It only has one ending at the moment though.

Hmm

Up a bit late again tonight. I got a lot done earlier in the day, though the later part of the day was pretty distracting. I will probably release some game on Sunday, though I am not sure what yet. Still working on a couple of things, but I have the one basically done I can do if I don’t finish the other stuff.

Today I spent all day working on a random idea I had, and did an entire game. It is a complete game, though it is fairly linear, especially at some parts. I could just release the game right now, but I am wondering if I should expend it a little, so it isn’t so linear. At the moment, it really only has one ending, though there is multiple different paths you can take along the way. Anyway, that means I should have something to post this weekend, no matter what I do.

Also got the pictures for the bimbo cube game, so I might work on adding those pictures in and tweaking the game a little bit.

Hmm

So it is good I been really motivated lately, but not so great is that I started working on like 3 games, and not just started but got a decent amount done in them. That might be splitting things up too much. Plus I had an idea for a 4 game but I didn’t really work that much on it.

I been feeling a pretty motivated lately, even if my work has been spread all over the place. I got to make sure I can finish any of the random stuff, since I don’t want to get too distracted with anything I don’t end up releasing, which I have a ton of games that I never really finished or even released part of.

I feel like I am kind of getting distracted from my original goals, of the stuff I wanted to finished. Though I have been working on a lot of stuff in general the last few days, it hasn’t been on those old things.
