I am going to try to post everyday, because I think it helps me stay on track at least a little bit. I had big plans this year but January ended up being a big distraction from my goals. So I need to double down to get things down now!

What I would really like to do this year, is to make some money with my writing. With the economy about to head into a major down turn because of Trump’s insane trade war, I could definitely use the money. My biggest hope is I want to try to finish the story I am writing and maybe get it published. I have a second story that I want to write, that I think might be really popular too.

I know I can finish them both, and make games on here, though focusing long term can be difficult to me(probably for a lot of people too, with the internet these days).

I need to get back to posting everyday again, because when I don’t do it everyday, then a bunch of days slip by and it is like a couple of weeks between posts.

I hope everyone is having a good new year! I fixed a bug on the Christmas game, that broke the conveyor belt which also prevented ‘ending 2’. So that should work now.

I really didn’t have as much time to work on my Christmas game as I wanted, so it is pretty short. A lot shorter than what I wanted, but it is still fun I hope. There is one actual ending, if you can find it! I might add more to it later, but since it is a new year I want to at least get the first version of it up tonight.

Christmas Spirit

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season. I probably won’t post the new game by or on Christmas but I will finish it before the end of year, so it is still the holiday season when it comes out.

I am not feeling super productive this month, though I am working on the Christmas game and some other stuff. I am also working on my new year resolution! I am doing prep work for my resolutions, so I can make them semi ingrained habits by the time new years come up, so I am less likely to bounce off them. They are mostly things to try to help improve my writing, and focus. Also I can try things out to see what might work and what might not.

I started working a bit on a Christmas Game. I had an interesting idea today so I worked on it a bit. It would be a game inside of a game, where you are trapped inside of a porn game(which is Christmas themed). The idea I had on how to work it, would be that the ‘porn game’ has a lot of bad endings, and you would have to avoid them. If you fall for a bad ending, the game doesn’t end though. Instead you suffer the bad ending then the ‘game’ restarts. Though your character’s memories don’t reset, and that causes things to change.

So there might be different paths, or the ‘bad endings’ could change, based on things you did before.

After that day I spend like 5 hours straight writing, I was a bit tired. I did work on a new game and wrote a decent amount for that the next day afterwards. However, after that it has been a bit of a struggle to get even like an hour.

So people know I been trying to schedule things to help build my writing stamina, and get me writing more often. Today I really went for it, and spend 5 hours straight working on stuff. It was for editing the book I am working on. Though not related to games on here, I do hope that improving my writing stamina will help me work on games too. I always been able to work really long on games when motivated, but then it can be a struggle at times when I lose that motivation. So I want to be able to work, no matter what, even when not motivated. That is my goal.

Today worked out pretty well, because I wasn’t even writing, I was editing. Editing is the most boring thing(especially since it was something I had already did several passes on). So being able to edit for 5 hours straight, is pretty good.
