Turn 2 is up, and some notes!

Turn 2 results are out, and everyone should have gotten their updated sheets. A few notes people should keep in mind.

1. Please make sure your character’s name is some where in the email if your asking questions and especially if you are turning in a turn. I can figure it out even without the name, but it is annoying if I have to look up the name for a dozen or two people each week.

2. Please make sure your in the right location on the location list. People with XXX next to their name are people who I did not get any actions from. If you sent in an action and your marked like that, then please let me know right away because I didn’t get the turn from you.

3. You can only interact with stuff in the room you started the turn in. If you move, you have to wait until next turn before you can do stuff in the new location.

Edit: Couple of updates in the pasture and portal for people who had email trouble, in case anyone finished reading the turn results by now.

First Turn up, and notices

I sent out emails to everyone with updated sheets for the next round. I got a few notices for everyone though.

1. You get willpower back every turn, so there is no reason to save it. You can spend it all each turn.

2. If you give an overview of what you are trying to do or forget to spend some willpower I will make my best guess and spend the willpower for you. So you don’t have to worry about it going to waste. However, try not to make things too vague or I will have no idea what you want to do.

3. For people who didn’t really do anything in the first turn I gave them a one time use Focused item, which lets them get +2 extra willpower for one turn. So if you missed the turn, don’t worry about falling behind, that item should help.

4. Everyone please check the location list at Locations. Make sure you are on it, because your turn might get missed in the future if you are not. If you are not send me a mail. Especially for people who didn’t put actions in for the first turn, you might not be in the turn result but you should be on the location list.

5. Everyone who sent me an email was allowed into the game. So if you are not in the location list, and didn’t get an updated character sheet, and not in the turn result, then let me know right away. So we can resolve that.

6. If you have any questions during the week please put “QUESTIONS” in the email title, otherwise I might not notice it right away.

7. The map for this game is here: Map

8. Also Kylorin I am having trouble getting an email to you and it keeps bouncing back, so if you have a different email I can use, try contacting me.

9. Everyone make sure you have your turns for this week in by Monday night!

My Computer Might be Dying!

My computer just froze up and crashed twice this morning(and I lost like an hour of work for resolving the turns for Demonic Evolution!). I have been having some problems with it recently, but I didn’t think it would actually die on me. Any way I am posting this now, in case I suddenly disappear for a few days. If that does happen, you can assume it is probably because my computer really did die and I can’t even turn it on anymore.

Update: My computer crashed again right after I posted this but then has been fine since. I am keeping an eye on it, but I think maybe it isn’t my computer but some bug with google chrome. So I cleared my history and stuff and did a virus scan. Hopefully that fixed it.

Blood Deadline!

The deadline for your turn is tonight, so if you have not submitted a character, you need to today! Also, if you submitted a character, but didn’t give any actions for the first turn, pleases do that as well.

I made one quick edit to the rule, on the quality of item rolls. For each multiple of 6, you gain +1 instead of +2. The chart was originally a little longer but when I looked at it I realized it is way to easy to get powerful items with +2 per. So that should balance it out a little bit.

Demonic Evolution: Blood Moon

So I am now starting up the new, extra dangerous, extra deadly game of Demonic Evolution, called Blood Moon! Due to the ability to kill people health has been boosted up to 50, and humanity has been increased to 20 with more severe penalties if you drop to 0. In fact, there are several ways to lose now, death from health hitting zero, turning into a beast if you get 0 humanity, losing your soul, or being enslaved. Some methods of game over allow you continue on, while other might result in your character being unable to do anything.

The item results have been changed, so you only gain one item per turn now and experiments have their default target upped to 20 instead of 10.

Also, for this game the human faction isn’t united, and so all humans may attack each other freely.
