Lizard Queen

I uploaded the game I was working on over the last week or so. It is a sci fi game involving sexy lizard girls. It is an HTML game, and has a slow transformation from male to female to lizard girl. It stops a bit abruptly in the second chapter, so keep that in mind if you play it.

What I have so far is pretty long, though there are no huge branches in the story. Instead the choices influence how you go through the scenes and develop and change your personality, and effect later scenes.

Stuff going on

No update to games today, but I thought I would just let people know what is going on. I was having a little problem with paypal, and it didn’t accept payments but I fixed it and it works properly now.  It only effected two people and it refunded their money so it wasn’t a big deal.

On Magic Girl Contest, I added a bunch more stuff to do including a new training system. Now during practice you can decide what type of magic you want to learn and practice, and if you want to focus things on like attacking or defending or being stylish! So you can now kind of choose what sort of magic girl you want to become, and those choices will effect how you do in the later battles. So expect that in the next update.

In Pirate’s Curse I added more stuff to the earlier islands, including a new path for becoming a vampire permanently on the second island. I have not yet started on a new island yet though, so might be a little big of a wait for the next update.

Also, I know I am so bad, and I need to focus on getting the older games done but I got struck by inspiration just a couple of days ago and started working on a new game. One focusing on slow gradual changes, and mind control. Also it involves sexy lizard girls, so if you like lizard girls you will be in for a treat! I don’t know how many are into sexy lizard girls, but they are totally underrepresented in tf games, so they need some love too.

Halloween Party Switch

So I finally finished the Halloween game I was working on. Sorry for the delay, but I got to the end of it and I just kind of lost motivation for working on it. So I ended up taking those day off and working on other games a little but tonight I went back to finish it up.

It is a pretty short game, but the purpose is really to allow some replay-ability with a lot of different options and paths and there is a lot of endings.  The main story is a little silly, and really just an excuse for a lot of crazy transformation and sex scenes, so don’t expect much of that, but I think it is still a fun little game.

Update

I have the Halloween game I was working on nearly complete but there is a few more endings I want to work into the game before I put it out. Though it shouldn’t be more than a day or two until I post it. Though to make it up for that, I thought I would share some pictures of what making a game looks like in twine.

This first picture is from Magic Girl Contest.  On t he left is the main story path that basically follows along from left to right, and on the right side you see the relationships which go up and down.

You might notice the ton of lines going towards the the top row of the relationship boxes, instead of going to the ones below it. That is because every time you go to a scene relating to a specific person you always go to the first box, where there is a ton of if statements that determine where you are in the story, so you get the correct scene, and returned back to where you left off in the main story.

This second picture is of the Halloween game I am working on. Since there is no main story, and a lot of options, things kind of spread out and go all over the place. The one problem with things spreading out all over like that, is that it is harder to keep track of the variables , though the method I used to organize magic girls, wouldn’t have worked with this type of game.

On a side note, if anyone knows how to set a variable in twine based on the choice you pick, rather than the scene you go to(as in both options go to the same scene but it keeps track of which you selected), please leave me a comment and let me know. That would really make branching games easier to organize, but I am not sure if it is even possible.
